Spätburgunder Rotwein feinherb Gutswein

Ingredients

• 250 gaged Alpine cheese (matured at least 12 months)
• 60 gfig mustard
• 2 piecesfresh figs
• 40 gwalnut kernels
• 150 gdark baguette or rye bread

Preparation

1. 1Remove the Alpine cheese from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving to allow it to fully develop its flavors.
2. 2Cut the cheese into roughly 1 cm thick wedges or rustic cubes.
3. 3Briefly toast the walnuts in a dry pan over medium heat until fragrant, then chop them coarsely.
4. 4Wash and dry the fresh figs, then cut them into quarters.
5. 5Arrange the cheese on a slate or wooden board.
6. 6Place the fig mustard in a small bowl in the center.
7. 7Garnish with the fig wedges and toasted walnuts, and serve alongside the bread.
