Ortega Beerenauslese edelsüß

Ingredients

• 500 gripe peaches
• 100 gsugar
• 40 gbutter
• 275 gpuff pastry from the refrigerated section
• 1 piecevanilla bean
• 1 tbsplemon juice
• 400 mlvanilla ice cream

Preparation

1. 1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).
2. 2Wash, halve, and pit the peaches, then cut them into uniform wedges.
3. 3In an ovenproof skillet, melt the sugar over medium heat until a golden caramel forms.
4. 4Quickly stir the butter and the scraped seeds from the vanilla bean into the caramel.
5. 5Arrange the peach wedges decoratively in the pan and drizzle with a little lemon juice.
6. 6Trim the puff pastry to fit, place it over the fruit, and tuck the edges inside the pan.
7. 7Bake the tart in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the pastry is nicely browned.
8. 8Let it rest briefly after baking, carefully invert onto a plate, and garnish with vanilla ice cream.
